I put this site together in early 2006. I thought it might be useful to have my resume on the interwebs and what better way to learn how websites work than to build your own?
NVU provided the intitial translation of my resume into .html and from there things got handcoded in a hurry.
It was then time to explore the Google Maps API, use PHP to query and manipulate SQL tables, and finally bring it all together with CSS.
The tutorials I used to assemble this site can be found under the Other--> Tutorials tab on the menu.
For a time I was hosting the resumes of a small number of trusted colleagues. LinkedIn has since filled this need. In fact the search terms that used to drive traffic to this site now rank my LinkedIn profile higher than my website. Go figure.
